Assessment Information

To undertake the assessment for this unit, you will need to supply the assessment criteria as stated in the assessment document. This is provided in this site under Assessment Requirements. All assessments require an Assessment Cover Sheet to be attached and a copy to be held by the student. Assessment Requirements

The assessment requirements for this unit are as follows.

Be aware that copying information straight from the text is an act of plagiarism and will not be accepted. (please see your student manual for explanation of plagiarism). When you have completed your project email it to your administration contact along with your signed assessment cover sheet.

As part of your studies you will be required to complete a work place project that has been negotiated with your organisation and your facilitator/assessor. This project can be a number of things. If you are unsure as to if your idea would fit the requirements of a project, just ask.  Many things can be adapted to the requirements. 

The following steps outline the process you will follow. These have been expanded in your readings so make sure you have read through the book before commencing the project steps.

Step 1

To start your project you will need to complete a project brief. The template for this is supplied below. You would then have this approved by your supervisor and your facilitator/assessor and submit it for marking to Albrighton Consulting. In this phase you would define the project and plan the project. This will includes your Gantt chart, Budget and finalized risk assessment. This part also fulfills some of the requirements of Managing Risk for your Diploma units.

Step 2

Implement your project and keep a copy of your documentation note on how your project has gone. This will be important information for when you compile your project report, for which the template is supplied below. This is the implementation phase.

Step 3

Compile the project report and prepare the presentation for you supervisor and facilitator/ assessor. This will fulfill the the requirements for Make a Presentation for your Diploma units.

Step 4

Evaluate your project and your experience by writing approximately 500 words on what you learnt from the process, what you think you did well, what you think you could improve on and do differently next time.
