To undertake the assessment for this unit, you will need to supply the assessment criteria as stated in the assessment document. This is provided in this site under Assessment Requirements. All assessments require an Assessment Cover Sheet to be attached and a copy to be held by the student. Please be aware that Albrighton Consulting takes no responsibility for any documents lost in the post. Where possible, scan and email, or save electronic copies of all your assessment documents.
You can also down load the Assessment and RPL Tool should you choose to apply for RPL, and when you submit your assessment or RPL application, you will require a cover sheet to sign and identify the documents origin. This can be downloaded here also.

The assessment requirements for this unit are as follows.
After completing the associated reading, please answer the following questions. Answers should reflect your own work environment or an organisation you are familiar with. Answers are to be set out in paragraph format with page numbers, 12pt Arial and should be of a length to display your understanding of the topic. Be aware that copying answers straight from the text is an act of plagiarism and will not be accepted. (please see your student manual for explanation of plagiarism). When you have completed these questions email them to your administration contact along with your signed assessment cover sheet.
Research human resources functions for your organisation or an organisation you are familiar with. Compare them to your readings. Write a report of no less than 750 words identifying the functions with your organisation, and how they are achieved, what works well and what can be improved. Collate, analyse and document key findings of the review and make recomendation for change.
Review policy and procedures frameworks or your organisation and locate policies and procedures relevant to the organisation. Construct or provide a document map of the policies and procedures relevant to you organisation identifying the appropriate legislation, regulations and standards that may apply to each. What are the strengths and what are the weaknesses in general of the policies and procedures of your organisation.
Review the ethical requirements associated with the human resources functions of your organisation and consider the ethical obligations and confidentiality requirements of human resources personnel working in the area. Document legislation, behaviors and requirements associated with working ethically in the Human Resources unit or your organisation.
