Mothers wise words

Mothers wise words
My Grandmother told me that what you do to your face you should do to your neck and the back of your hands, so I moisturised daily from then on. A dear friends daughter recently told me her mother told her to never leave a room empty handed, another piece of good advice. But i think the gold logie goes to Karl Stefanovic whose mum told him, 'never pay for your own beer'.  Do you have one of those friends ? Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful mums out there, past and present.

Circle of Futility
There Is Nothing So Useless As Doing Efficiently That Which Should Not Be Done At All, Peter Drucker . Possibly one of the most profound sayings I carry in both my profesional and personal life and expect to take a life time to master.

We still dont get it! Technology and Social media are meant to be instant and immediate, feeding into the gen Z way of life barreling towards us at break neck speed if we like it or not. So my new years resolution is to be quick and be off. Happy new Year!

Who is on your Bus ?
As your business grows you may need to employ additional staff with different skills or even employ staff for the first time. Making the right choice and ensuring you meet your obligations to your employees can ensure your business continues to succeed. Before you employ anyone new you really need to do your homework on the type of person that you want and not just from a skills perspective - perhaps the most important question is what kind of person fits into the culture of your organisation. Who do you need on your 'bus' and what skills and personality type will fit your culutre. We can help, we want your business to succeed. Contact Deirdre today to discuss our Psychcometric services and recruitment options today.
